Perfect location right in the middle of town. Dolgellau is beautiful any direction you’re looking! We slept perfectly and the breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were so wonderful to chat with and the level of hospitality was top notch!

My Girlfriend and I stayed a full week at Heulwen Guest House. Everything was clean and well prepared. The laundry smelled beautiful. Heulwen and Andy did everything to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Personally, after some hard weeks at work this was the perfect place to come down. Thanks Heulwen and Andy! Everything was great, the room was spacious and comfy and we could see Cadair Idris from our window. The breakfast was really nice, we didn't want to leave!

Beautiful setting with views of the Mawddach estuary. Our room could not have been more beautiful or comfortable. The owner is a collector of incredible art and crafts from around the world and these artifacts are displayed in every room. The giant fish tank in the breakfast room is amazing! Sophie showed me newly hatched starfish. The two hostesses--Sophie and Marilyn--were absolutely fantastic. They love this place and are devoted to making guests comfortable. We enjoyed walking across the toll bridge to the King George Pub across the estuary for dinner--quite an adventure! Thank you to everybody for making this treasure available to us.

It was so peaceful, pub and food in walking distance incredible view of the estuary, birds singing. Warm Comfortable and great value for money. Wales at its best , great hosts too .

The property is excellently maintained and is a beautiful old house. Our hosts, Gina and Gareth were, well what can I say apart from congenial, friendly, helpful, courteous, loved a chat and a laugh. Gina went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. The breakfast choices were amazing and meant we didn’t need lunch. We had dinner on the Saturday night and the food was delicious. They are both great cooks!

This is a five hundred year old hall, listed historical building, with four star interior decor, and cozyness beyond belief. What a marvelous place to spend the night
