Everything. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The bed comfortable. It is close to Chester and a bus runs almost to the door. It ran conveniently every day. Its a quaint place and quite accommodating. I will use again

It's a classic, three rooms over a sedate Pub. The room was eclectic and cozy. The owner Martin was warm and gracious. The pub serverd a great steak and the continental breakfast really set me up for the day. I like small hotels and pubs with rooms.

very pleasant when we arrived, we left our bag in reception room was very clean and tidy and bed very comfortable excellent breakfast and very friendly gave us direction into the city via the canal 30 minute walk recommended a nice Italian restaurant .

Great friendly staff, food in bar nice. Really good breakfast. Big double Bedroom with double shower. Ten mins away from town center. But also shops, pubs and restaurants across the street. Bus stop outside. It's worth a 4⭐, I suppose some people would prefer up-market to 4/5⭐. I assume in summer front bedrooms may be disturbed by outside patio, smoking area. We will be back and I would recommend to family and friends.

The old building and everything about this place!! Our family room was absolutely fabulous 🤩 we had dinner down there at the pub and it was excellent food and service. Location was great, right in the city, and there was a shop and a bakery in front of the street which was great and really handy.
