We stayed at Caingorm Guest House from Friday night to Sunday for a weekend of skiing and cannot wait to come again. Mark the host was so welcoming and the property is beautiful, everything you could need. The room was large and beautifully decorated, there was a lovely lounge with a fridge, really liked having the side access to the building so you are not tracking through wet ski gear, and the drying room was great. The best part was breakfast! Honestly the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, with so many options including vegan, all beautifully freshly cooked and loved talking to the lovely staff members with tips about how to ease sore legs after skiing. Also excellent location in Aviemore.

Stayed overnight, with my friend, in the Vaa twin room, was a reasonable size, good facilities, warm, comfortable and clean. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Great parking facilities and in the centre of the village, easy access to shops etc. Breakfast choice and quality were excellent and coffee delicious. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend

Contrary to other reviews which I'm sure were posted on the wrong Boathouse, the Boat House Guesthouse, remember Guesthouse, would definitely get my return business. Harry was a delightful host and his breakfast made to order, could not be surpassed. Friendly, clean and helpful.
