everything was perfect, I didn't get opportunity to enjoy the breakfast which I have booked (bus to Toledo was really early) but I could only recommend the place for short or long stay. Spacious and very clean rooms, very nice and helpful personnel, very nice interior design.

Jose is just a great host and very kind person! He made our stay incredibly warm and cozy! He is very passionate about nature and willing to share his knowledge with guests of hotel. We went with him at night to feed deers and observe nightlife of other animals. Location of hotel is perfect for staying before or after visiting Ciudad Encantada. Really quiet and relaxing place. Room was clean. Dinner was tasty at hotels restaurant.

Hostal Cortes is located in the center of Cuenca, just 300 meters from the bus station and a 10-minute walk away we can find the famous Casas Colgadas.

This guest house offers traditional-style rooms with free Wi-Fi, a TV and a private bathroom.

Great location in the new part of town, for it is lively too, with a short walk to the historic area. I was concerned about safety with the hotel being so close to the train station but no worries for the area is safe. I also worried that it was a hostel, but it is not; it is a hotel. Be ready to climb, for all the historic sites require a vertical hike. Don't miss the tunnel tour, which requires a reservation at the municipal tourist office.

Built in an unmistakably modern style, with clean lines and fashionable lighting, the Hostal Buenavista offers 21st-century accommodation in this centuries-old city in Spain’s La Mancha region. Its central location is surrounded by historic buildings, shops and the tourist information centre. Onsite facilities for you to enjoy include a comfortable lounge room with free internet corner. You can also start the day with a delicious buffet breakfast in the hotel’s breakfast room.

Quiet. The bed & pillows were comfortable. There is armoire with some hangers; always a plus. There is hot water, soap & towels. It's a 20-minute walk to the bus station. There is a TV & air-conditioner but I didn't use either. One can catch the bus to the train station at the Cervantes bus stop; about 15 minutes from the hostel. Plaza Mayor and Cuenca Cathedral is a good 35-minute walk, mostly up the side of a mountain.

So quiet, great location (it is just far enough away from the main road where cars go rushing by on the cobblestone streets and make a lot of noise). Wonderful staff

Our hostess was very charming and very helpful. She went out of her way to be sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My own mother could not have made me feel more welcome.

10 for the best host imaginable. I had a real problem with the sickness of the bed and pillows that were uncomfortable for me. Diego offered unparalleled and good grace to support us moving rooms. The location is excellent and very quiet. If you want space, the large family room is the one to book.

Great location - so close to bus/train station - didn't have to drag our bags up hill to the old town. Easy scenic walk up. Great receptionist - we were able to have our room early and she furnished us with a map and gave us a map and directions to the best way the walk up, what to see and even recommendations for where to eat afterward- most appreciated! Comfy big bed, lovely big clean bathroom and very quiet. And cheap simple brekkie available if you need. Couldn't have asked for more!
