I really enjoyed the property, I was especially impressed when I was feeling ill from travelling how accommodating the staff were. In addition I may have had a flight delay and I was given comfort to come back to the hotel and figure out my next steps in the worst case. As a girl travelling alone, it meant I was safe. We loved staying at Casa Filomena! The accommodations were super stylish and the food -- we arranged with the host to have a dinner and two breakfasts at the Inn -- was just superb. Pati, who owns & runs the place, is exceedingly kind, informative, cheerful, and helpful! We were hoping for a stay that would be more personable -- and less generic -- than a big-box hotel, and Casa Filomena fit the bill perfectly. The area is filled with lovely shops and restaurants and cafes and with easy access to Barcelona's wonderful Metro system, we had no trouble navigating the city by foot, by bus, and by subway. It was an ideal stay -- and we'll be back.

Carlos was very helpful and friendly. He actually sat us down and went over our itinerary and shared his insights and tips. His ice cream recommendation was exceptional. The space was cleaned daily and well-decorated, location was great, peaceful and comfortable.

Very friendly host, easy to access with an elevator in the building. Sparkling clean, very quiet at night, lots of space to have a drink or a snack with a view. Necessary amenities are provided. You can leave your luggage in a special box if you have a late flight.
