We are 2 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and the Gasthof Rose was exactly on our route in the centre of the delightful town of Hornberg just around the corner from the marketplace. It is a very comfortable traditional hotel run by a very charming lady. Good restaurant and an excellent breakfast. Very quiet. Very good secure bike storage in the hotel's garage. Very comfortable.

We were able to park our motorcycles in the garage on the 1st but it was full the second night. The staff are lovely and we were pleased to find that Dragos was still here as we enjoyed sharing stories of our adventures on our previous stay. I highly recommend staying at Fehrenbacherhof. It is very family friendly, has a small playground plus a variety of pets and farm animals, all very exciting for kids. The owners really accommodated us, and provided a cot bed, or can provide an extra bed. Our room had a very nice balcony and we enjoyed sitting there. The hotel is right next to fields and woods, excellent for hiking and mountain biking (and road cycling!).
