The unit is on the ground floor of a house, not a basement which made it an amazing find. The windows face the backyard which made it feel a little extra private and cozy. I loved that the kitchen had everything we needed cuz we prefer to cook our own meals when we travel, so it was important for us. Big and comfortable bed is an extra plus. A nice extra touch were the complementary sweet and savory snacks and bottles water, which was very welcoming after a long trip. The house is in a very lovely neighborhood in Vancouver with public transport availability within walking distance.

My daughter and I had a weekend in Vancouver so we could go Thrifting on Main St and hit the East Side Flea Market as well. The location of the West Cozy Retreat was perfect, we were less than 15 minutes to Main St. and about 20 minutes to the Flea Market. We had a great time and loved our stay!

Vivi is very friendly and helpful. The suite is clean, cosy and comfortable. Great location near bus station and so many stores, restaurants and pharmacies. Lovely house and great hosts, I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for two weeks in this basement, It was everything clean and new, all the appliances works perfectly. They have a confortable bed and sofa where you can rest and watch movies. Also you will find buses that connect with all Vancouver city just a few blocks walking from the house.
