This charming bed and breakfast is where we always stay in this area because you are instantly relaxed and in vacation mode the moment you step foot on the property. This hotel is run by a lovely couple that are very hands on to your needs, very friendly and helpful to give you recommendations on restaurants, hikes and things to see in the area. They also make an amazing breakfast each morning and will make an amazing gourmet dinner upon request. The rooms are decorated with such personal touches and the views and tranquility of grapes, mountains and river views, you could sit and relax on a swing or lounge chair outside the room for hours. Sunsets with a glass of wine are amazing there also. I would highly recommend this!!

Quinta da Cerdeira ligger i Seia, 28 km fra Parque Natural Serra da Estrela og 41 km fra Mangualde Live Artificial Beach. Der er have- og haveudsigt. Our host Elio was so friendly and helpful! Even though he only spoke a little english, he gave us a wonderful route to drive and see some of the amazing sights of the area. It was also fun having breakfast with the 2 other couples who were staying there at the same time. We had 4 languages at the table (English, French, German, and Portuguese), but everyone was friendly and it made it a fun experience. Also the cheese Elio makes on the farm was excellent! So good that we had to get some to take with us to our next stop. And I can't forget to mention the friendly animals we got to meet while we visited too.

Casa do Outeirinho ligger i Sabugueiro, 19 km fra Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, 44 km fra Mangualde Live Artificial Beach og 20 km fra Manteigas Hot Springs. The house was in the center of the town, although we´ve been offered one on the outskirts. It was easy to go everywhere and there were many facilities such as bars and shop just next to it. The house consisted of 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, small kitchen and terrace. It was great, as we could cook our meals there. If you are into hiking, there are some hikes they you can do without using your car. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Cantinho da Estrela ligger i Seia og har gratis WiFi. Pensionatet ligger blot 9 km fra naturparken Serra da Estrela. Samtlige værelser har aircondition og tv. We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.

Solar de Alarcao fra det 17. århundrede har have og møbleret terrasse med udsigt over Guarda. Guardas centrum ligger 4 minutters kørsel fra ejendommen. Very friendly reception and breakfast staff. Lovely smell throughout the whole house. Very accommodating with regards to our bikes.
