It was such a nice property and the host was amazing. There were so many thoughtful touches and if I needed anything, the host had it for me within minutes. I would definitely recommend this property.

The property consists of 3 villas, within an agricultural farm. Two of the villas have a double room and a mezzanine with 2 single beds, and direct ocean views, while the other has a double bedroom and ocean view from the private terrace. Each units has a kitchen, a living room including a cable TV and a sofa bed. Muni obrigada, Miguel for this nice time, the magical view and the natural pool. Miguel is a very helpful host. It was nice to see our child and her friend.

Our casita was very cute. Bed was comfortable with great morning views. Bathroom has great water pressure and gets pretty hot (so important for me). The kitchen has the essentials. Daily breakfast usually includes eggs and we would fry them every morning. When we had an early morning excursion they brought our breakfast and left it in our fridge the night before. I loved this little spot. It’s about 20 min driving to ponte Delgada and the airport. Staff was amazing.

With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. The farm stay provides garden views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Absolutely everything. We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

The Lagoa do Fogo is one of the island’s most famous tourist spots. It has lush green surroundings, several hiking trails around it and is one of the largest lagoons in all of the Azores. It is a 30-minute drive from the Ponta Delgada centre, which has a historical city centre, bars cafés and local shops. The unit is 500 metres from a beach area and there is a commercial area just 100 metres away, with a variety of shops. The fact that it was an old convent added charm to the property. The was it has been re-organized with a pool and amenities is amazing… The staff were always smiling and offered great advice and support.

The Quinta’s rooms are decorated in a sober way and include a cable TV. Each includes its own private bathroom. The property offers views of the mountains and the coast. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.
