Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. We were received exceptionally. The hosts are dedicated and attentive. A word of attention to Mr Luis and Filipe who provided me with an excellent conversation / company. The pool was sublime and breakfast was perfect. 2 days of peace and quiet. Amazing place!

This was the most exceptional renovation of an old stone rural property we have ever seen. Absolutely deluxe. Situated in a quiet village only minutes from a small city—the perfect combination.

The Location was very convenient for travellers by train. The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. the staff was super nice! very clean and unique stay.

Featuring pool views, Quinta de Chousas - Braga - Agroturismo offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free bikes and a garden, around 8.9 km from University of Minho - Braga Campus. Extremely friendly family! The adult sons all spoke English well, so communication was good. They were all so proud of their Agroturismo and gave us a tour, telling a bit about their family history. We were served an appetizer soon after arrival, which included wine from their vineyard. We had a huge breakfast with a number of homemade specialties, in fact way more than we could eat!

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Nuno is an outstanding host. He seems to have a special worldview. His place looks like a piece of heaven, he welcomed us with open arms, gave us recommendations around the village, allowed us to use all the facilities - unlimited pool, kitchen and public living room, check out until 2pm with an elaborate breakfast. He suggested us to stay even after checking out to use these facilities. The environment gives quality time with nature, we rested and enjoyed. Only one minor thing-the road to the place includes sharp descents with narrow road-alleys that only good drivers can manage. Thank you for the time in Paradise Nuno. We will definitely come back to stay.

Boasting garden views, Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley offers accommodation with a rooftop pool, an indoor pool and an open-air bath, around 6.5 km from Douro Museum. The property is amazing! Owners took care of every little detail and it was just an overall exceptional experience.

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The space was very clean and the location in the middle of nowhere but close from the city was perfect

Situated within 10 km of University of Minho - Braga Campus and 12 km of Braga Se Cathedral, Quinta das Areias - Solar da Pena provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Braga. The staff was really professional and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The place is just amazing, a very modern and atypical house and bungalows in the middle of a river, vineyards and hills and was perfectly located from the places we were going. We had a really good time.

Set 16 km from Salado Memorial, Casal de S.Romão do Meio offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Beautiful property. Felt like home. Host was amazing and kind. Food was amazing, felt like we were visiting family. Claudino cooked us wonderful 4 course meal for dinner. Breakfast was a feast. Lovely fire was roaring when we arrived. Best experience of our trip to Portugal. If you are anywhere near…plan to stay. We will be back in summer to enjoy gardens and pool.
