We are so sad to have only 3 nights there and are now missing this place. We had a check-in later than 20:00, the staff shared the check-in information with us and we parked our car, found our room easily. However, we should have turned the air conditioner on (30C) to warm the space :) (it was fresh for us) The room was nice and new, the mattress was comfortable as well. Breakfast was very good 👍🏻 Especially we loved the bread and the butter!! The staff was very friendly and even the owner treated us with kindness and 2 lemonade one evening! :) Good man! Last day we left the hotel earlier in the morning and the lovely staff prepared breakfast for us in the evening before. Be ready to start eating the breakfast from the evening :) Mmm 😋 This place we would like to return. Really had a great time and great happy birthday 🥳

Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful property and old house with good upgrades maintaining the character. The restaurant was wonderful too.

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, windsurfing, diving and cycling are possible in the surroundings and A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can arrange a bicycle rental service. Elda and Leonel's accommodation is truly magnificent. São Vicente and the north coast of the island are spectacular, this is the perfect location to take in all of the area has to offer. Leonel is a local, so is an expert on the area (great recommendations for food, drinks, hiking trails, and swimming spots). I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Elda, but the design features of the property (for which I believe she is responsible for) are excellently unique. It's a comfortable space to spend downtime, with stunning views from the balcony and a pristine pool to lounge by. The property is perfectly located within a two minute walk of São Vicente village, and a further five minutes to the seafront (which hosts more options for bars, cafes, and restaurants). Leonel provided both a transportation service to and from Funchal, as well as a bicycle rental service, both at a very reasonable cost. These additional services helped make my stay extra special and hassle-free respectively. I was also given a generous sample of Leonel's homemade Madeira wine, which was succulent and sweet as well as fresh eggs from the chickens they keep on site. Elda and Leonel's two cats also wander around the property. They are friendly, gentle, and affectionate; good company all in all. I endured both calm sunny days and stormy downpours while in São Vicente. Regardless of the conditions, I always felt that I was in the perfect place to enjoy my holiday.

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. The Casas de Levada accommodation in Madeira is a real gem. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the view of the ocean, which is simply breathtaking. And the accommodation exceeded all expectations: it was clean, spacious and extremely homely. I would especially like to highlight the hospitality of the hosts, who paid attention to every little detail and ensured that we felt the best possible. The environment is extremely relaxing, a perfect place for complete recharge and relaxation. I can only recommend the Casas de Levada accommodation to anyone visiting Madeira. We will definitely be back!

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

Very clean and charming house with lovely swimming pool and kind owner.

Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water.
