Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

Situated within 16 km of Villa Panza and 29 km of Monastero di Torba, Tenuta La Vigna features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Malgesso. The hosts were very friendly and provided great suggestions for activities in the area. Looking forward to coming back to Tenuta la Vigna for a couple days of relax. With mountain views, Agriturismo La Miniera is located in Gignese and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, children's playground and seasonal outdoor pool. we loved that it’s in the mountains right between two of the most beautiful lakes Lago di Maggiore and Lago d’orta. The animals in the property were beautiful as well. Dinner at the agriturismo was wonderful!!

Set in the hills above Verbania, Agriturismo Monterosso is a working farm from 1888. It produces its own meat, fruit and vegetables, which you can sample in the restaurant and buy to take home. There are about 60 steep curves from Verbania until one reaches the top of Monterosso where the hotel is. But once you overcome those obstacles, you have the most beautiful view over Lago Maggiore (including Isola Bella), excellent home-made meals from local ingredients and relaxing atmosphere.

With panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Maggiore, Agriturismo Da Attilio offers a peaceful location and a traditional restaurant, a 25-minute drive from Cannobio. Beautiful place, with a nice view as it is 600m above the lake. Nice staff and good quality rooms! Perfect to start your hike to the surrounding peaks!

Set in Ticino Nature Park, Cascina Campaccio is in Taino, 5 minutes' drive from the shores of Lake Maggiore. This country-style house features a cosy lounge with fireplace. This b&b was nicely decorated, very clean and staff was very pleasant. It was a bonus to have a sauna in the room.
