I would love the breakfast to be more continental with toast, jam and butter. Location is good. And salmon and bacon café has the best pizzas and pastas. And it’s just next to the hotel.

The only minor downside was the location. Very minor, in fairness as a cab or bike will get you into the thick of things. Value for money was right up there. Room was spacious and clean. Pool was great. On site gym, if you like that sort of thing and lovely tropical garden. Will 100% go again. Staff were fabulous.

Grand Howard Hotel is a 10-minute drive to Surasak BTS Skytrain Station, providing easy access throughout Bangkok. Locația frumoasă, și prețul ok, dar totul lasă de dorit! Nu este sub nici o formă un hotel de 5* , nici măcar de 4. Primul dezavantaj, camerele nu au balcon, apoi apa în piscină este rece gheață, copiii s-au băgat așa pentru ca își doreau foarte mult, dar înghețau imediat în apă… Dar cel mai deranjant lucru a fost faptul ca aveam mic dejun inclus, tip bufet , iar la mic dejun un fel de bucătar “ care de fapt era îmbrăcat în haine de stradă, nu știu ce bucătar era, stătea în fața noastră și făcea pește la grătar . Era un miros care se simțea foarte puternic în toată sala, iar băiețelul meu de 4 ani, care este înnebunit după peste de abia aștepta, și îmi cerea într-una : mami pește, pește… dar surpriza când am fost să cerem ne-a zis domnul “bucătar” ca nu ne dă , ca de fapt nu este pentru clienți… și pur și simplu nu a vrut să ne dea o bucățică de pește, am zis ca îl plătesc separat ca îi e poftă la copil și nu a vrut ! Deci poate exista atâta răutate și nepăsare în oameni ??? La un hotel de 5* care se respectă?? Cum să nu dai unui copil de 4 ani care nu mai poate de poftă ?? Și tot în momentul ăla am fost la recepție și le-am spus ca nu mai vrem să stăm la hotelul lor, vrem să plecăm. Aveam 3 zile rezervate, dar am plecat după o zi . Încă o surpriză extrem de neplăcută a fost ca nu aveau nici măcar o terasă afară deschisă unde să stai seara, și erau niște mese afară întunecate - adică aveau o terasă de zi, dar seara la ora 18 era închisă, și am mers să stăm la un suc , la lumina telefonului, iar atunci am văzut pe acoperișul terasei cum fugeau șobolanii! Deci groaznic, am fugit imediat în cameră , copiii s-au speriat, nu mai vroiau să meargă, a trebuit să îi luăm în brațe . Singurul lucru ok a fost ca ne-au rambursat banii pentru cele două nopți când le-am zis ca plecăm . Și view-ul din camera era frumos, atât
