I would recommend this place for anyone to stay at. The staff were exceptionally helpful especially for me as an English speaker. They went above and beyond to help me get cabs and navigate the city. The rooftop restaurant has a really nice vibe and the food is good and reasonably priced. My room was clean with great air conditioning. The room was fully enclosed, so no bugs and the hot water was great. Breakfast included with the price of the room was good with a fair amount of food options. I felt safe and wasn't concerned about my belongings when I left. They have a beautiful courtyard in the centre of the building and I woke up to the most beautiful sounds of birds singing in the trees. My only disappointment was that I couldn't stay at casa mara for my whole trip as they were fully booked. Just a note that they do not accept credit card for payment. They like to receive payment in XOF. If you have a busy work schedule, it is better to change your money at the airport before arriving to the hotel if you won't have extra time (the rates were comparable to on the street). Going to the bank to change money was time consuming!

The best croissants and cinnamon rolls that I have tasted since. If you are just passing through and you are on a budget choose this place. The rates are fair comparably. The quietest AC I have used in many years.

The location overall is Good eventhough access to the actual place is not. Narrow side streets that a car cannot get in so if you have suitcases, beware.

Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood of Dakar. It felt safe. The man who works there is very nice and helpful! The owner always replied quick to our questions by message. We took the private shuttle from the airport that she suggested, that was a good option to get to the place quick and easy.

The cleanliness, professionalism of the staff and willingness to do anything to help, the little touches added to make my stay comfortable such as toilet paper, towels, cotton swab, hand lotion etc in the bathroom

Set in Dakar, Waypoint Suites offers a restaurant, sea views and free WiFi, 1.5 km from Fann Beach and 4.8 km from African Renaissance Monument. located centrally in Mermoz which is also a safe neighborhood and I had no issues walking around. there is a beach within walking distance from the beach. the building is well kept and the restaurant downstairs is fantastic. the building has 24 h security.
