Situated in Porto’s Ribeira district, this 4-star hotel is situated in a refurbished, historic building overlooking the Douro River. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. we stayed in the tripple room and these are located in the -1 floor of the hotel (thus no view). We didn’t mind as the location of the hotel is right in the centre. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable.

Hotel da Bolsa is nestled within Porto’s historic Ribeira district, just 100 metres from the neoclassical Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace). It offers breakfast and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The location was perfect, close to everything. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast ok. It was a continental one and if you expect egg and bacon, you will not get it. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless. We will be back, for sure!

The 5-star Pestana Vintage Porto Hotel & World Heritage Site is romantically situated along the Douro River, right on the historic Ribeira Square. Booked for a room with a view and stayed at the 5th floor. Fantástic view of the Ribeira, especially at the sunset. Nice and friendly people attending in the reception, restaurant and bar. Fantastic breakfast, including sparkling and Porto wines. Cheeses and sausages served in the hotel winery, which makes a true difference. It was my wife birthday and they sent her a bottle of sparkling wine with a small cake to celebrate. Little things that really makes a big difference.
