By the way, the first time that the pictures of the room were far less impressive than the room and the terrace itself.

It is difficult to describe how perfect our stay here was. We felt like we had won a prize! The staff were so attentive, particularly Katerina who checked us in, Iryna at breakfast who came in early to make sure we could eat before checking out and the fabulous Anne with her warm manner and excellent recommendations. A special mention must be given to the breakfast - so delicious and fresh and the perfect way to start each day. Our room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated - just like the rest of the hotel - and the pool was a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We loved taking the tram into town, and the short walk down to the beach (especially the beach bar!) We are so glad to have chosen Foz Do Douro and Casa Da Marechal for our short stay in Porto and will certainly be returning. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so special!

Featuring 19th-century architecture, Hotel Boa – Vista overlooks the mouth of the Douro River and the Atlantic Ocean. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, wonderful views from bar and swimming pool . Great location for Atlantic beach holiday and easy access to Porto .. 20 mins on bus or tram. Varied and enjoyable breakfast. Fantastic local restaurants nearby. We will be back!

The property is very tastefully decorated and completed to a high standard. It is very well located on a quiet but central street in Foz, close to the beach, supermarket, cafes and restaurants! The host Paulo was very helpful and welcoming and I look forward to returning in the future! If you wish to go into Porto the bus journey takes about 15 mins so it is very easy and pleasant trip along the river.

We were made to feel like home by the owners, the view was absolutely stunning and the location is amazing for a relaxing trip. The mattress and the pillows were very good quality and very comfortable, which in turn made us want to spend even more time in bed. All in all just very good.
