The staff is very warm and I got a detailed explanation of how everything worked with the keys and my hotel room. I slept very well on the bed and the shower is great. The place is very nice, just outside of the city center. And a tram stops right in front of their front door.

It is difficult to describe how perfect our stay here was. We felt like we had won a prize! The staff were so attentive, particularly Katerina who checked us in, Iryna at breakfast who came in early to make sure we could eat before checking out and the fabulous Anne with her warm manner and excellent recommendations. A special mention must be given to the breakfast - so delicious and fresh and the perfect way to start each day. Our room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated - just like the rest of the hotel - and the pool was a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We loved taking the tram into town, and the short walk down to the beach (especially the beach bar!) We are so glad to have chosen Foz Do Douro and Casa Da Marechal for our short stay in Porto and will certainly be returning. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so special!

Das kleine Schloss gefällt auf Anhieb. Zimmer im Neubau sehr modern und komfortabel. Toller Blick vom kleinen Balkon. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Frühstück war sensationell. Fantastisch gemachte Omeletts, viele Beeren und hervorragende Produkte. Das Restaurant war sehr gut, wir hätten jedoch gerne draussen gegessen (haben verpasst zu reservieren...). Die reservierte private Yacht-Tour war ein echtes Highlight. Unbedingt die Tapas dazu buchen.

Diese Pension erwartet Sie mit gemütlichen Unterkünften mit Meerblick im Viertel Foz do Douro, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Atlantik. Das kleine, traditionell ausgestattete Hotel ist von der Straße aus kaum wahrnehmbar. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Zimmer groß und sauber. Der Meerblick war fantastisch und wir hatten sogar noch ein zusätzliches Zimmer mit einem kleinen Balkon. Wer das besondere und landestypische sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Rooftop pool, buffet breakfast, great lattes, water in lobby to refill water bottles, fridge in room, location, ocean view and refreshing sea air from large terrace of our room, bathroom and jacuzzi tub, classy and elegant retro character of hotel, easy check-in and wonderful and helpful staff, walking along Duoro to and from Porto, easy bus access to Porto along same route, walking alongside beach and on breakwater, great cafes and restaurants nearby, shout out to Teva Terrace and bakery(best ever Patel de Nata)

Paulo and Carolyn were very welcoming and helpful! The check in and check out were hassle free and we appreciate their reactivity through the stay! All the appartements were very clean and nicely furnished - we rented 5 for the family! 👌 Location was right accross the beaches and you have supermarket, cafe and restaurant at walking distance. You can make nice promenade around and go to the city very easily by transport or If you re more than 2, taking uber to the city is less expensive than buses and tram.

Location was great, we had two separated rooms with two bathrooms and terase.. great, wery clean with everything you need and realy realy close to the ocean. And also manager was so soooo nice. If you want to go to porto, you should go to this apartments :)

We were made to feel like home by the owners, the view was absolutely stunning and the location is amazing for a relaxing trip. The mattress and the pillows were very good quality and very comfortable, which in turn made us want to spend even more time in bed. All in all just very good.
