Det nyrenoverede 4-stjernede Hotel Baia Azul ligger ideelt, 4 minutters gang fra stranden i Funchal. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

The Cliff Bay ligger på en naturlig halvø og har panoramaudsigt over Atlanterhavet samt privat adgang til stranden. Skønt hotel i rolige omgivelser. Særdeles velholdte udendørsarealer, der vel nærmest kunne kaldes en botanisk have. Gode poolfaciliteter og rigeligt med drømmesenge og parasoller. God morgenmad og særdeles venligt og hjælpsomt personale

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. Short walk to the ocean

Set within extensive gardens of various subtropical trees and a banana plantation, Quinta da Casa Branca features a boutique hotel and an elegant manor house and offers a heated pool and rooms with... The Quinta da Casa Branca is an absolutely extraordinary hotel consisting of a gorgeous manor house and brilliantly designed and constructed modern buildings with luxurious rooms. The grounds are as beautiful as any I have seen in a Portuguese hotel, and we particularly admired the variety of flora, as well as the informative markers describing the plants and their provenance. The swimming pools, while small, are elegant and serene, and the breakfast is sumptuous. We had dinner one night at the Michelin-rated Dining Room restaurant, where the food and service were absolutely top-notch. And the staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged a brilliant hiking tour of the Levada das 25 Fontes (a must!) and answered all of our requests for information and advice warmly and intelligently. This is a tremendous hotel. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in busy Funchal!

Dette hotel ligger i en frodig have og har udendørs pool med udsigt over Funchals kystklipper. Everything about this property is simply fantastic. Excellent customer service throughout our stay, the staff was very accommodating and we felt like VIPs. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, and our balcony view could not be beat. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well, with something for everyone. We also loved the location, it is close to the downtown without being in the heart of it, and the promenade provided excellent walking paths. A great restaurant and a large grocery store were right across the street as well. We will stay here again when we return to Madeira.

Golden Residence Hotel byder på panoramisk udsigt over Praia Formosa (den største stenstrand på Madeira) samt udendørs pool, wellness-center og moderne ferieboliger med privat balkon. Et rigtig fint sted for en familie. Fine faciliteter og god beliggenhed. Det lille køkken fungerede fint og der var busstoppested lige ved hotellet.
