I loved the French decor and Edith Piaf and others continuously steaming through cached speakers in the hallways and rooms. The bathrooms had brilliant marble and fun ceiling mirrors. Even with the impressive decor, the staff is what stole the show. Princess was the first to greet us. She answered all our questions, gave us important information about Bergen, shared recommendations, and gave us a packed breakfast for the day we had to leave early for our fjord tour. Joyce, Alexis, Stef, and Paul, also deserve special shout outs. They were professional, accomadating, and excellent at anticipating our needs. They called taxis, prepared packed breakfasts, found seats at the hotel, and just made us feel welcomed. This hotel gets an A++ for its special staff and customer service practices. Finally, it’s an interesting concept that I’ve only seen in movies where the hotel guests can get “taken up” into the busyness and crowds of the brasserie. The Charmante is a hotel but I learned that people are really into the French cuisine & wines at the restaurant. As we came during the Christmas season and within the first 3 months of the hotels opening it was VERY busy with dinner guests— but I loved the buzz. And if some do not like this, they can just go to their rooms— the noise does not follow :-)

Bergen Harbour Hotel, World Hotels Crafted is centrally located in Bergen, 1 km from Bergen University. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was outstanding. Cristina (manager) is a gem.

Bergeno centre, už 700 m nuo Bergeno universiteto, įsikūrusi apgyvendinimo įstaiga „Bergen Børs Hotel“ įrengta 1862 m statybos pastate, kuriame kadaise veikė akcijų birža. Puikus interjeras, aplinka, lokacija. Pusryčiai ganėtinai geri, bet pasirinkimas prasčiausias iš visų, kuriuos matėme Norvegijos viešbučiuose kelionės metu. Didelis pliusas, jog kavą gamino iš aparato.

I had a great experience during Easter Week with my family from the Azores, Portugal, at Scandic Ornen Hotel, in Bergen. After a trip of 11 hours from Oslo, we were very welcome by Mr. Rubad, that was very kind and provided all the information that we need. Very kind staff, incredible breakfast where I must mention Mrs. Giselda, at the front desk of the first meal on the morning, has extraordinary sympathy and a very professional way of taking care of the client's issues. Set on the same grounds as the Michael Monastery in the Nordnes area of Bergen, Klosterhagen Hotel offers free WiFi and rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Bergen Aquarium is a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was great, quiet location but not too far from city centre ..up a hill however !
