The house is located far from the bus stop, but you can rent a bike from owners, so it is not a problem. The owners are very nice and friendly people. They prepared a small, modest but tasty breakfast on the first morning and welcoming wine for arrival. They have thought of every detail, from the newspapers in the toilet to the hand-designed and printed wine labels on the bottle of wine. It feels like they love what they do.

A recently renovated chalet set in the Hillegersberg-Schiebroek district of Rotterdam, Chalet aan de Rotte offers accommodation with with a garden, parking on-site and free WiFi. Lovely property. Exceptionally clean and great services offered. Loved the additions of a hammock, bbq and outdoor space. Views of the river and windmill. The horses and ducks were entertaining and we would definately come back again.

The house was much bigger than expected and had all the amenities we needed for the weekend and more! The property was spotless upon arrival and having a garden to relax in was also a nice added bonus. The beds were super comfy and the we had more than enough space for 4 people. Transport into the centre of Rotterdam was easy and cost efficient, taking only 10/15 minutes by Uber or 20 minutes on the tram, with the nearest stop being just around the corner. Timo was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town for the Rotterdam marathon again!
