The location is fantastic too. The interiors and the property itself is quirky and lovely too. The food is great. Please eat the breakfast at the hotel- it’s a good spread and has everything you need before a day out in Den Haag

This hotel is situated in the centre of The Hague only 150 metres from the Bierkade Tram Stop. Mercure features a 24-hour front desk and room service. Everything was good, breakfast was delicious!

It was very disappointing: Due to a knee injury, I was unable to climb the very steep stairs to the top floor (not shown or written in advance in the listing)! I asked if I could change an apartment or request a partial refund and when that was not possible, I booked another hotel and asked if I could please change the date to 2025 (not something unreasonably close). So far, nobody has returned my messages, my card has been charged, and Booking.com’s customer service said they would let me know when the property replied them - which has not been done. I was supposed to have stayed from April 17-19, and now it is the middle of May: The property still hasn’t replied.
