Staying at this traditional Hanok guesthouse near Gyeongbokgung Palace was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredible host family. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness made me feel right at home. The guesthouse itself was a charming blend of traditional Korean architecture and modern comforts. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the bustling city. I particularly loved the traditional Korean-style bedding, which added an authentic touch to my stay. The location couldn't have been better. Being just a stone's throw away from Gyeongbokgung Palace allowed me to easily immerse myself in the rich history and culture of Seoul. The neighborhood was also vibrant, with plenty of local shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore. What truly set this guesthouse apart was the host family. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. They provided valuable insights and recommendations on places to visit, eat, and experience the local culture. Their warmth and genuine care made me feel like a part of their family. I can't recommend this traditional guesthouse enough. If you're looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience in Seoul, with a host family that will make you feel like a cherished guest, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories with this amazing host family.

Die Unterkunft Hans House, die in Seoul gelegen ist und von der aus Jogyesa-Tempel in weniger als 1,4 km erreichbar ist, bietet einen Conciergeservice, Nichtraucher Zimmer, einen Garten, kostenloses... Hans House was clean and comfortable. Very close to the Subway, which was handy for us to travel to different places and come back with no issues. The host is very helpful and attentive - he gave us maps and suggested the best places to visit and where to eat.

Die Unterkunft Seochon Secret Cave House besticht durch Stadtblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten und einer Terrasse, ungefähr 2,3 km von Jogyesa-Tempel entfernt. Beautiful and comfortable place for a group of us! Close to the bus and a convenience store (3 minute steep walk). Though we did not get the chance to hike, we could see the trail and looked like a great hike! The rooms were in great temperature and beds were cozy. Linen was clean and plenty was available. We had a short stay and I apologize to the owner for not notifying our arrival time sooner, (as we did not have service) she was not only waiting for us at the property she showed us around and gave us thorough instructions for anything we might not know how to use. The cave is such an unique and nice addition, it made a whole experience out of it. The area is quiet yet us being a group you could not hear much noise from the outside due to great soundproofing in the home (only the bedrooms are facing other properties). The place is near cafes and nice sightseeing spots and a walk or short bus ride to the Palace. Everything was awesome and I hope I get to stay in the future again! Thank you for such a beautiful place. I fully recommend it to both groups and even smaller groups looking for commodity and space.

Cosy and traditional homestay feel. Staff was helpful to accommodate request to deposit luggages before official check in timing.

Beautiful Hanok close to the Gyeongbukgong Palace (20 min walk). Place suited a family of 5 and still allowed for privacy. It had great facilities and tools, super neat and clean.

Very comfortable stay in a great location! Lydia welcomes you with tea and treats, and a tour of the home and the area, including good places to hike and eat. If this is your first visit to Seoul, you will find her inside information very helpful. Our family of 7 had a very comfortable stay and the guesthouse can easily sleep 9 comfortably. Some of our favorite nearby visits along with the other sites she may mention are Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, Statue of King Sejong the Great (and museum), and the Cheonggyecheon. Please note that the address on Google Maps and Naver Maps (LUDIA Crafts Guest House) will lead you to the wrong street. You might want to try 8 Pirundae-ro 1-gil, as that will be right in front of the alley that leads to the guest house.
