Designed with a cinematic theme, Hotel28 Myeongdong is Korea's first hotel to be a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World Ltd. The service was excellent, staff was exceptionally friendly, they helped us with any requests. Rooms were super clean and well designed. The location was very great too, 3-4 minutes walk to 2 different metro lines, plenty of tires and nice street food available just below the hotel.

Located in the Jung-Gu district in Seoul, Mangrove Dongdaemun offers 2-star rooms with free WiFi. Comfy place with superb communal areas. It’s very close to a metro station that connects many lines (there’s even a lift at exit 4). The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue upon check-in, and the team immediately provided an alternative way better than I thought. Highly recommended!

Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Dongdaemun is located a minute’s walk from Exit 9 of Dongdaemun Culture and History Park Subway Station (Line 2, 4 and 5). Free WiFi is available in all areas. I loved my stay here. The staff was wonderful, the room was lovely, with a large bathroom and a great location. The subway and airport bus were just out the door. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area was beautiful.

Set in the central area of Seoul, The Shilla Seoul is the Forbes-nominated 5-star Hotel for 6 consecutive years from 2019 to 2024. The hotel features 6 dining options. I don’t know much about the Shilla’s history but stepping into the hotel felt like I was stepping into an institution. It is outdated though, but it comes across as cozy rather than grimy because of the upkeep. It’s outstandingly clean. The service at reception isn’t the greatest compared to other high-end hotels in Seoul. We weren’t told about details such as needing to book breakfast beforehand if we wanted to pay the guest price, or that there’s a car service between the parking and the hotel. They did end up giving us the guest price for breakfast though to amend for their mistake, but parking is a hassle if you have a car. You have to park and either wait for a car to take you up the hill to the hotel, or make your way up a very long staircase.

Stanford Hotel Myeongdong has a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Seoul. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The room and whole hotel was clean. The room is actually big which was a plus. The receptionists were amazing and very helpful. The hotel is very close to myeongdong walking street. Highly recomment this hotel.

In a prime location in the Jung-Gu district of Seoul, Henn na Hotel Seoul Myeongdong is located 800 metres from Myeongdong Cathedral, 1.1 km from Namdaemun Market and 1.8 km from Dongwha Duty Free... We had 5 great nights. the bed and room are comfortable, even if on the small side. you have everything you need, plus the location is very convenient. you hardly see any staff around, but things are always very tidy and clean. i would stay here again, without a question
