From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

Just in front of Itaewon Subway Station (Line 6), Hamilton Hotel offers modern rooms with free internet in Seoul's Itaewon District. It has a rooftop pool which only runs for summer and a large sauna.... Very good location and warm big room. Had pleasant stay there. You can take the metro from the airport and you will exit from Itaewon metro station. It is just in front of the hotel.

Situé à seulement 1 minute à pied de la station de métro Itaewon (Ligne 6) et à 15 minutes en voiture de la gare de Séoul, le G Guesthouse Itaewon In Seoul comprend un jardin sur le toit agrémenté... The breakfast is simple and to me it is good enough because there's bread, jam, butter, cereal, milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea. Location is really great because it is near to Itaewon train station. There are so many restaurants near the hotel and there is a prayer room for Muslims provided by G Guesthouse. But the guesthouse is near to Seoul Central Mosque. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The owner was very nice and helpful. It's placed in a great location. Up the hill is a party street and down the hill you have a big nice convenience store and a 7/11 down the way with an ATM for currency.

Situé pas très loin de la station d’Itaewon, le personnel c’est montré très réactif par message! La chambre était propre et spacieuse.
