Situated in Florence, 120 metres from Pitti Palace, Casa Botticelli offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The former palace was STUNNING. High ceilings, gorgeous decor, impeccable service and morning breakfast, attentiveness by staff and just a perfect tucked away location. Wish I could spend weeks there.

Palazzo Guadagni Hotel is set in a 16th-century building in a quiet square 5 minutes' walk from the Ponte Vecchio. It has a roof garden with lovely views. We had a lovely time, the room was bigger than I had anticipated and the bed very comfortable. We had an amazing view on the duomo from the room and the bathroom was very comfortable. Now it is an old palace so when you arrive you can get a lift up the reception, but then you will have to walk up the stairs to go to your room. That didn't bother us as the place is very charming and we didn't expect it any other way. Beware: the terrace for breakfast or drinks will take your breath away. I was literally wishing for rain so that we would have to stay on the terrace longer and do nothing else :) Breakfast itself was not mind-blowing but to good standards and I did not feel like there was anything missing.

The apartment is located in a very lively Spirito Santo square which has bunch of restaurants and cafes and there is also a market on weekend. The host was amazing and very helpful in providing us all the information we asked for during our stay.
