Where to start about this Incredible property. Probably my favorite hotel stay in my life of 56 years, anywhere in the world. I absolutely love that this is a Heritage hotel and that the Diggi family has offered to share part of their world (in the form of their royal residential palace) with travelers like me. From my arrival through the first gate of the property, I felt like I stepped back in time to Old India of the 19th century. The architecture, gates, vast gardens, lawns and shady trees (like an oasis hidden from the bustle of the city) beautiful courtyards, chirping birds and strutting peacocks, ornate doorways, some fading facades others brightly painted, and shady verandas with lounging chairs all contribute to a sense of history and authenticness that you do not get with a Hyatt or Marriott. If you want that then go to Las Vegas. This place is special. The Diggi might not have an elevator and it might be old but for me that is the charm. Aakash at the front desk was wonderful in welcoming me and then helping me arrange my uber for departure. They provided a wonderful laundry service for a cheap price. The location was perfect for me as it is close enough to the old city that I walked to and from yet far enough (and at the end of a small street) that is a refuge from the crazy, noisy streets of Jaipur. Breakfast was good, rather basic but still offering several Indian dishes, egg/omelets, fruits, breads, baked beans (I loved) and cereals. Great coffee served to me in a French Press at my outdoor table on the edge of the gardens. Staff at breakfast were very attentive. I didn't use the pool as it was closed for maintenance but I checked it out and is a beautiful setting. The attached restaurant, Labrassa, was awesome. I ate there 2 evenings-loved it. Great ambiance in an outdoor setting amongst large, shady trees with romantic lights strung everywhere, and great music. And don't forget the beer and wine offerings.

TOURIST INN, que cuenta con terraza y restaurante, se encuentra en el centro de Jaipur, a 2,1 km de Palacio de Jaipur. El personal fue muy amable y respetuoso. Super seguro, tiene una cerradura que traba de adentro, recomendable para una mujer que viaja sola y quiere estar tranquila XD . El hotel está en una calle tranquila y a la vez cerca del centro, algo que es muy importante después de caminar todo el día por las ruidosas calles, ¡se duerme muy bien, la cama super cómoda! . Hay restaurantes muy buenos cerca. Honestamente, volvería a hospedarme aquí sin dudarlo si volviera a Jaipur, la mejor relación calidad- precio. Muchas gracias!!!!

The staff was great, helpful, and friendly. I read some reviews claiming otherwise but didn't find any evidence of any lack of kindness. The room had an excellent pleasant design and was big and spacious. The lighting system was modern, activated by touch. The mattress was comfortable, and the same goes for the pillows. The room was clean and was prepared daily according to western standards. The room service is excellent. And all the food we ordered to eat in the room was delicious.
