Set in London, 2.8 km from Clapham Junction, Spread Eagle offers air-conditioned rooms and a bar. It's an amazing place to stay. At the reception, they'll give you a card key and kindly explain how to open the door if you arrive late. You start enjoying the beauty and thoughtfulness of the hotel as soon as you go upstairs to find your room. It seemed that they thought of every little detail, everyghing is just stunningly beautiful. Finding the room isn't difficult—the signs are painted on the walls and seem like part of the design. There are also paintings on the walls that catch the eye. Although the room is relatevily small, it's just charming. There's a wooden table, a fireplace, a fresh newspaper, and a large chandelier—it's the perfect setting for "English aristocrat"-style photos. Besides being a great place for photos, the room has everything you need to relax: a kettle, cups, glasses, nespresso machine, coffee and tea, a large TV, and a wonderfully soft bed. Both sides of the bed have nightstands and power outlets—very convenient for charging all devices. The bathroom is nice and has all the necessary amenities. The towel warmer works without any issues, and there's soap, shower gel, body cream, shampoo, and conditioner—all with a lovely fragrances. The hotel also has a pub, which I highly recommend visiting. You don't have to leave the building—the entrance is right off the hotel corridor. The margaritas were delicious. I highly recommend trying the sausage roll. The staff are also increadibly kind and polite. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this place.

Overlooking Battersea Park, the 4-Star Pestana Chelsea Bridge offers stylish rooms. 2 rail stations can be reached in just 10 minutes by foot. I came earlier than the check-in time but they did not let me wait! they gave us the room immediately. The room was large for London standard + comfy beds + clean room and bathroom. The staff were very kind and helpful!

With en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi, Gateway Hotel is 150 metres from Clapham South Tube Station, a short walk from the open green space of Clapham Common. Very close to the metro station, clean and quiet, comfortable beds, well organized self check-in, very friendly staff. Very good price. I highly recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in London.

In South West London, The Alma Hotel is just 50 metres from Wandsworth Train Station. Boutique bedrooms feature designer wallpaper, luxury toiletries, free Wi-Fi and LCD TVs. The rooms were so unique and beautifully decorated with charming touches. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and everything was immaculately clean. The staff offered me warm milk for tea to keep in the room upon arrival. I had explored London by foot the previous three days and was so keen to have day to rest and recuperate before more exploring. The Alma was the perfect oasis for a restful day.

In the centre of Wandsworth, Brewers Inn has en suite bedrooms and a Young's pub serving great beers and fine food. Wandsworth Town Train Station is within walking distance. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and stylish.
