This luxurious 5-star retreat has a fine-dining restaurant and romantic bedrooms about 3 km from the Royal Mile. Prestonfield is surrounded by gardens and a golf course. All fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed food, service and surroundings.

The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... Super friendly staff and clean and complete room. I really enjoyed my stay at the Scholar. The hotel is located next to the beautiful nature area of Edinburgh. Walking to the city center took around 30 minutes, a perfect walk.

This elegant 4-star Victorian hotel offers luxurious rooms featuring iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, sherry and shortbread. Very cozy rooms and a very nice building. The common living room with chimney and bar are very nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. But what made the stay exceptional for me, was the staff. very friendly, always available, great service. They even made breakfast available to us at 5am before our flight. Definitely recommend to stay here.

The beds were super comfy, our room was clean and elegant. Despite it is a very busy street by buses, inside our room we didn’t hear a noise from outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our bed was the more comfortable bed I’ve ever had the pleasure to sleep on and overall the room was immaculate. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, they allowed us to store our large luggage in their store room before and after our stay had finish, this was much appreciated so we could fully enjoy our stay without the need to lug everything around.
