Situated just a 15-minute walk from the historical centre of Bordeaux, by the Botanical garden of La Bastide and the Pont de Pierre, ibis budget Bordeaux Centre Bastide offers modern accommodation and... The lovely young lady on reception was very, very helpful to me. She is a 'gem'. Hotel is handy to the Botanique Gardens, Trams, The River etc. Plus it is an easy walk into the city. The nearby tram took me direct to the Airport for current rate Euro 1.80. The room was a perfect example of efficient use of a small space. Supermarket next door and Cafes too.

Booked the slightly bigger room, and it was really comfortable. The bed was huge (~1,75m wide), there was a small fridge and a sink available, with plates and basic cutlery for having a pre-prepared meal (no stove) Felt really cosy and the owner was very nice

There is an opportunity to have a conversation with other guests at breakfast. The breakfasts on the terrace are great. The rooms are quiet. The neighbours are almost inaudible. Great location. Not in the downtown. That's why it's quiet at night. There are either 3 tram stops to the center, or on foot across the bridge. About 20 minutes.
