Dit charmante hotel in de oude stad van Granada was voorheen een prachtig historisch herenhuis dat met zorg tot een hotel is omgebouwd. The hotel itself is beautiful, and is an amazing option for being right in the Albaicin BUT with convenient parking! The highlight though without a doubt has to be the host... Ingo gives attention to all guests to make you truly feel at home. We had a limited time in Granada and he went over with us detailed suggestions for a possible walking route to take, places to eat, and directions on how to get to the Alhambra for our morning tour (when he spotted a potential discrepancy in our palace entry time and our tour guide's meeting time, he immediately took the initiative and called the tour company for us to clear it up). For those who worry about arriving in the Albaicin by car, the directions to the parking are excellent (even including a short video) and while the streets are a bit narrow, the parking garage itself is spacious and very comfortable to park in. As others have mentioned, the bus to the Alhambra is very simple to navigate, and leaves just 15 meters away from the hotel. (Ingo recommends taking the bus there and then walking back--wise advice so that you're fresh and ready for a lengthy tour, but can still enjoy the pleasant park and streets on the return route). Another highlight is the hotel's welcoming attitude towards those who have checked out but need a place to leave luggage and even rest up with some tea/fresh lemonade before actual departure. Aside from all this praise, we found the hotel services to all be excellent--a comfortable bed, a very clean bathroom, a tasty breakfast (with the option of a picnic breakfast for those who have an early booked Alhambra tour...). All in all an excellent choice for a Granada stay. And thank you again Ingo for making our visit such a delight!

Heel rustig gelegen met zicht op het Alhambra. Alles is gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken. Autentiek gebouw met leuke binnenplaat.

Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Albayzin in Granada, en bevindt zich op 6 minuten lopen van Paseo de los Tristes, een paar minuten lopen van San Juan de Dios Museum en 9 minuten... Amazing breakfast!!! Friendly Staff and perfect "Patio"

Het 16e-eeuwse Palacio De Santa Inés ligt in de wijk Albayzín, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van de UNESCO staat. Het hotel bevindt zich op 5 minuten wandelen van de kathedraal van Granada. The building was old but felt luxurious and spacious with lots of welcoming seating areas. Wonderful room with very high ceilings. We didn't expect the spiral staircase to the second floor loft with day bed. Breakfast was great, and cost 12 € per person
