This 4-star hotel enjoys a quiet location in a park in the west of Munich, steps from the Friedenheimer Straße underground station. It offers a bar, fitness room, sauna and Bavarian-style rooms. Room was quite small, but good enough for 1 person. All was clean. Minibar provided complimentary welcoming drinks. Exceptionally good breakfast. Cafe staff performed very well even with a lot of customers. Hotel entrance looks very classy with all the marble.

Almost everything about this hotel was perfect, especially the staff. I've never met a more helpful and energetic one than a bald guy from Saudi Arabia at the front desk :)

Completely renovated in 2016, this privately run hotel is located in Munich's Laim district, between Munich Central Station and the Schloss Nymphenburg Palace. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable (one of the few places in Germany with a real double bed and not 2 singles put together). Good location, close to the S-bahn station.

Set in Munich, AMENITY-Garden-Apartments is located in a quiet residential area, 2.5 km from Nymphenburg Palace. Oktoberfest - Theresienwiese is 5 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided. The room exceeded my expectation! It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It is located in a residential area, a little far from the centre but that makes it a perfect area to have a quiet pleasant stay. You can travel around conveniently as the place is close to a tram station(tram no.19), which can take you directly to the central station or other big train station if you needed to. The host is super helpful, he tried his best to help us book a tour we wanted as well but we couldn't find any availability. That's ok though, we enjoyed the place a lot!

Situated 2.1 km from Nymphenburg Palace, PM-Rooms offers accommodation with free WiFi in Munich. I booked a night stay, and the location seemed close to public transport, with necessary stores around. The rooms are basic and had a fridge inside and a fan for the temporary summer that we get in Germany. Its on a side main street, with a empty back garage for the building, so it was pretty quiet in the night and day. The room had two single beds, but I was alone so used one of the beds. Its better than a hostel, with your privacy and the other basic stuff if you are on a budget and this place gives you great value for money. There is a very huge kitchen/common room, with all the necessary equipments for you to cook for yourself and/or socialise with the other guests.. the property is most of the time unmanned, and each room and areas are under 24/7 Video surveillance.. so you might want to not run naked around the building after getting out of the shower. :)
