Boasting historical charm and in the heart of Leipzig, the Gästehaus Leipzig accommodation is located between green space, the Neues Rathaus town hall and the Johannapark. Free WiFi is provided. Breakfast was very good, meeting expectations. Happened to meet the chief consular officer while walking by the consular building while they were putting up 4th of July decorations and had a pleasant conversation.

Just 800 metres or little over a 5-minute walk south of Leipzig's city centre, this family-run hotel offers great access to public transport and to the Leipziger Messe exhibition grounds. The hotel was adorable and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere from check-in to check-out can only be described as cozy. The breakfast was excellent. I was especially happy to see that the hotel did not provide small bottles of different hygiene products (shampoo, soap etc) but used refillable containers. Moreover I enjoyed the possibility to have tea in the room and the tea selection was also perfect.
