This attractive, 3-star hotel lies right in the heart of Koblenz’s Old Town, a 6-minute walk from the main train station and 660 yards from the banks of the Rhine. We were admired by the room features. It is very comfortable, spacious and pleasant. The bed was stupendous, the mattress having the right toughness. A kettle and two cups were already in the room, so we needn't ask for them. The staff members were extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The cheese was very tasty as well as the scrambled eggs. The orange juice is also particularly good.

This friendly, country-style hotel is located in central Koblenz, just a 2-minute walk from Koblenz Train Station. It offers rooms with free WiFi, soundproofed windows and satellite TV. The location was key, right across from the train station. The staff was accommodating and very kind and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable and the hotel helped in making reservations for dinner and providing free parking tips. Great hotel, would return!

This modern 2-star hotel is a 5-minute walk from Koblenz's main railway station and old quarter. The Deutsches Eck confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers is a 25-minute walk away. Great location, close to the downtown, sights, supermarket, restaurants, etc. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The bed mattress was very comfortable.

This 4-star hotel in Koblenz stands beside the Rhein-Mosel-Halle convention center and the Kurfürstliches Schloss castle, on the River Rhine. Nice to walk along the river in the morning.

120qm, cozy Apartment, sehr zentral am HBF, 3SZ is a recently renovated apartment in Koblenz, near Löhr-Center. Completely renovated bathroom and kitchen, super-clean, very spacious, with all the latest conveniences. The kitchen has a stove, oven with a timer, microwave oven, espresso machine (classic Nespresso capsules), electric tea kettle, filter coffee kettle, even a machine to make your own carbonated water from tap water, which is drinkable. Adjustable temperature for each room, electric blinds for the front rooms, the apartment has everything you could need. The only thing we found missing to describe the apartment as “perfect” was the limited available closet space in the bedrooms. If you’re a business traveler and need space to hang your shirts and jacket(s), you can only do this in one of the three bedrooms. The other two only provide drawers for your clothes. Not a catastrophe, but a small nice-to-have. 🙂 The location has its pros and (small) cons: It is literally a three-minute walk from the central train station, so perfect for the business traveler! From there, the downtown shopping and restaurant district is a mere 12-minute walk away, the old town and beautiful confluence of the rivers Rhine and Mosel (the so-called “Deutsches Eck”, definitely worth a visit!) is just 20 minutes on foot! So, in that sense, a perfect location. On the other hand, like every central train station district, you will encounter the odd homeless person sleeping or loitering on the sidewalk outside your building. But the city has Avery legere feeling and there is strong police patrolling presence around the clock, so we never felt unsafe! Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend booking this property. Last but not least, a special mention should go to the property manager, Theresa: She was super-helpful, polite, friendly, speaks perfect English (and German, of course!) and was always there to assist in any questions or asks we had. A true professional! 🙂
