Located in Heidelberg, 1.8 miles from Heidelberg Central Station, Hotel Leone d´Oro has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The building is absolutely beautiful and charming, the staff were incredibly nice and understanding when we arrived a bit late due to traffic, the room was big, super cozy and warm, the bedding surprisingly comfy. While the location isn't exactly central, the surrounding area is wonderful, filled with charming houses and little squares that lead to a forest where you can walk up the hill - which provides a panoramic view of the city - and then down towards the centre. Also, it is easily reachable by a tram that comes by very often and the intersection next to the hotel has a variety of shops. One more noteworthy aspect would be the amazing air quality due to the proximity to the forest. All in all very happy with the experience and super excited to go back to this magical spot in this incredible city. 🧡✨
