From when we arrived until we left. Daniela allowed us an Early check in with no additional cost. Melanie was extra helpful with making reservations for my birthday dinner. She recommended one of the best restaurants and made personal reservations. Honestly this has been one of the best stays in Cartagena. The staff is very helpful, polite and eager to help/please. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. All my instagram pictures have been amazing thanks to their modern chic decor! All of my followers have been asking me which hotel it is I am staying. Voilá Centro Histórico heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Cartagena. Great feeling of safety and 24/24H front desk! I was welcomed with a nice cocktail. I stayed in a spacious double room with a on a great bubbly street in the Historical Centre of the city (select wisely). Very clean, nice hot running water, powerful air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, WONDERFUL staff, impeccable cleaning service, a functional elevator, a restaurant and bar on the 5th floor with a rooftop and even a jacuzzi and a swimming pool. There’s also a bar on the ground floor and the entry hall looks GREAT. The staff is really the highlight sans the best part of this hotel. So friendly and helpful. You feel VERY safe in the hotel. The hotel is IN the city centre of the historical part of the city and close to many museums and the start of many touristic tours. It’s close to a port where you can take boats to beaches like Playa Blanca and Pao Pao beach. It’s also very easy to access other parts of the city from the hotel thanks to the amount of taxis you encounter. The stay comes with a breakfast buffet from 7-10. They’re always welcoming you with a warm drink and a glass of juice. You have the option for eggs (I don’t eat eggs), you can always get a plate of fruit and the special pastries change throughout the week. My absolute favourite was the carrot cake. Tasted like heaven.

A new amazing place in Cartagena, with a fantastic English speaking staff who were extremely helpful and friendly, the included breakfast in the onsite cafe was also great. The wifi was one of the fastest in Colombia and the shower was just amazing.
