Featuring a terrace and a bar, Palmas de Alba Hotel Boutique is located in Cartagena de Indias, a 10-minute walk from Marbella Beach and 1.2 miles from Bocagrande Beach. The location in the old town is perfectly close to museums, Getsemani, nice restaurants and bars and the port for island day trips. Shoppers have to bring a little more money to Cartagena but there are some really nice boutiques if you want to spend the money. Everything can be done by foot within a 15min walk. The area is also super safe so of course one has to be reasonable and careful, but we never felt unsafe. The hotel is quiet and super classy. Breakfast was the best we had in any Colombian hotel as well. It has fresh fruit and juices. Choice of eggs and bread with jams. Usually they offer some kind of local dish as a special each day as well so it was nice to try different things :) The rooms were super clean, with air conditioning of course and the entire hotel complex has a nice smell to it. Lots of people and bars/ restaurants didn’t have water during our stay (fellow travellers in other hotels as well) but our hotel always had water and we would not have even known about the issue. The pools are also super nice. Generally the photos are super accurate and we were even more positively surprised when arriving. Highly recommend!!!

Hotel Don Pedro De Heredia is situated in the historic center of the city of Cartagena. It has an outdoor pool, and offers air-conditioned rooms with marble floors and flat-screen TVs. Nice hostal located at the heart of the Cartagena's old town center. The best spots in the old town are only a few steps from the hostal. Great breakfast with good options, fresh fruits and local dishes. Lovely and friendly staff which helped us with tours and other issues during our stay. A special compliment to Mr. Antony, a very professional and friendly guy who was always there to support us.

Hotel 3 Banderas is in central Cartagena and offers a waterfall garden, 2 spacious patios, and a roof-top terrace overlooking Cartagena. It is just 3 blocks from the Caribbean Sea. Excellent location, very central, in charming old town house with patio.

Voilá Centro Histórico has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Cartagena de Indias. The property is close to Cartagena's Walls, Palace of the Inquisition and Bolivar Park. the premises and location are amazing, the staff is very friendly!

B Haus Hotel Boutique has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Cartagena de Indias. Beautiful place with hot water and nice location. Roof pool is slightly heated but really nice in the evenings

Located in Cartagena de Indias, near Marbella Beach, Bocagrande Beach and Cartagena's Walls, Hotel AT THE PARK features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a shared lounge. Excellent location, nice room in a very historic building and friendly staff. The location of the place is really good. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the park which we enjoyed in the evening - nice to share a bottle of wine and listen to the music below without getting hassled by the street vendors when sitting in the restaurant/cafe. Room was not very noisy really…everything quieted down after 11pm and we had no problem sleeping.

Offering a restaurant, Hotel Kartaxa is located in Cartagena de Indias and features a unique style with the bohemian ambiance of the 30's. Free WiFi access is available. Friendly and helpful staff. An amazing location location - I think it's in the prettiest part of the walled city, though everything (including Getsemani) is within a ten-minute walk, or so. The entire facility is remarkably clean and the flowers are beautiful! Our visit featured an excellent (with a diversity of offerings) breakfast and ridiculously friendly restaurant staff. Honestly, we preferred this breakfast (food and vibe) to our four-star hotel.
