The staff was attentive and helped me a lot, although we needed to speak through the smartphone translator. The bed was the best bed of my trip and every little detail seemed to be taken care of before my arrival.

Ideally located in the heart of historical Xi’an, the gorgeous Xi'an Dajing Castle Hotel is around a 5-minute stroll from Yongning Gate, the south gate of the ancient city wall. My room had a spectacular view of the wall and gate. In the morning there was a little show. The hotel was near subway and near nice street food markets. Room was clean and comfortable.

If you follow the city wall to the west, there is a lively morning market with breakfast options and local life. Nice soft bed and space for sitting and enjoying the view. Roof top also great!
