Shenzhen Loft Youth Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Shenzhen. The hostel exceeded my expectations in every way! Comfortable, clean, hot water, quiet, nice area... Across the street there is a complex that has a supermarket, some fancy-ish restaurants on the upper floors, and on the ground level some very good local restaurants. Chang fen, steamed buns, and noodle/dumpling spots, all excellent for a traditional breakfast. Across that street from there are some more restaurants.
