Since opened in 1983, East meets West at the majestic Jinling Hotel in the heart of Nanjing’s Xinjie Kou Square, an upscale setting only 200 metres away from Xinjiekou Subway Station (Line 1&2). The room was spacious and clean. The staff were excellent! We arrived around dinner time and the place was packed. However, we were attended to quickly and managed to get to our room within 20min. The staff were really professional and they immediately knew where to get my luggage which were sent over earlier. A pity I did not managed to get the names of the staff who were serving me. They even got me a great driver who got me to the airport on time.

Atour Hotel (Nanjing Hunan Road) features air-conditioned rooms with TV in the Gu Lou district of Nanjing. Modern, clean, great service, friendly staff. Very helpful.

Shangri-La Hotel Nanjing is located in the centre of vibrant Gulou District. Everything. The hotel is close to the Xuanwu Lake and in walking distance to the Xuanwu Gate. It’s easy to get in and out traffic wise but feel quieter than the Xinjiekou area. The hotel is newer than most peer group such as Westin and Hilton. The staff is very friendly and better quality than its peer group as well. The cleaning staff especially go out of their way to help. Their Chinese restaurant Jiangnan Zao is delicious. We stayed in three hotels (Westin, Hilton Riverside) in Nanjing on a recent trip and Shangrila is by far the best.

Overlooking Xuanwu Lake and Nanjing’s bustling city, this hotel features an indoor pool. the room, the service. the staff's attitude and ease of asking to reserve taxi to get to where I needed in the city. excellent location attached to mall with plenty of food. lake view and xuanwu lake park access.

InterContinental Nanjing sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla Gulou-aukiolla 1 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Guloun metroasemalta (uloskäynti 4A, linjat 1 ja 4). It was a nice hotel in the centre, just yards away from Metro Line1. All staff were polite and helpful during checking in and out. Will choose it again if in Nanjin.
