The hotel is in a beautifully restored old art-deco building, right in the center of Kunming with the shops, restaurants and night market. The metro station is also withing walking distance. The green lake within walking distance as well. A special thumbs-up for Lingling, the manager, who does everything within her possibilities to assist her guests. She borrowed me a sim card the first day and went with me to the service centre of the provider to buy a sim card and stayed there in the queue with me until they actually installed the card in my phone. Thank you, Lingling, you are the best !

Ideally situated in Kunming, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kunming Guandu features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre and a restaurant. The room was big, amenities complete, there was even a huge projector. Location very close to Kunming train station.

Good place to stay, with a 20 minutes walk to the central railway station in interesting areas, many parks nearby, and a big shopping mall approx 5 minutes by taxi. Restaurants and shops nearby and really a non-touristic area, that suited me very well. The positions on booking.com wee not correct, two taxitrips were needed to find the hotel, but once there, everything was ok. Remember to bring cash! ATM 10 minutes away.

Special mention of Mr James Ding, Mr. Kevin Lee the manager friendly boss and extremely polite and humble. We planned to stay for only 3 nights but because of their hospitality and friendly gesture we extended our stay by 2 nights.. we have stayed in many hotels around the world but never found such a wide spread of breakfast with so many varieties to cater for Chinese and international taste. Even got my breakfast customized to my taste.

От всички стаи се открива изглед към града.... The lady at reception who spoke English was simply amazing . Never have I met a person so suited to her profession in hospitality. She was so warm , professional and went above and beyond in helping us navigate our first trip to China . She is a credit to this hotel . I’m only sorry I can’t remember her name , but she is the one who speaks perfect English. She even accompanied us to the train station when we could not book the tickets at the hotels reception ! Amazing service !!
