Situated directly on the beachfront, The Passage Villas is set on 1 acre of gardens and beach. It offers a swimming pool and free tropical breakfast on your first morning. Private, quiet villas with patio to relax, fall asleep hearing the waves, sit on Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine and enjoy the ocean view. The beds are super comfortable, living area cosy, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The apartments were clean and serviced every day. The swimming pool was steps away, perfect temperature, deep enough to swim laps. There is a ceiling fan, which was usually enough overnight but there is also an air conditioner if needed. You can walk to Muri beach or take the clock-wise bus a couple of stops. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into renovating and beautifying the property. They were kind, gracious hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay!

A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Obiekt Tropical Sands jest położony zaledwie 5 minut jazdy od plaży Muri i oferuje wille z dużym tarasem i widokiem na ocean lub ogród. Na miejscu można bezpłatnie wypożyczyć rowery. The location is amazing… Steps away from a convenience store, delicious restaurant, and the best coffee and pastries on the island! The view from our villa was the absolute best part of our stay! We spent a lot of our time just lounging on our deck, watching the waves come in, and enjoying the ocean breeze! Rudy and Kanoe are exceptional hosts, and they made us feel right at home! The grounds are beautifully kept, and Kanoe’s artwork throughout the property makes it so extremely special! We loved our time at Tropical Sands, and would highly recommend it to anyone else coming to Rarotonga! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Halve way between excellent snorkling places but far enough away from the main tourists. Very private. We were self catering however plenty of Papaw on the trees for us to eat every day.

It is a nice place to stay for a holiday at an excellent price. The area is quite scenic, and it is not far from a small supermarket and an eatery. Joe and his colleagues are really friendly and helpful.

Great location, the accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. The pool was perfect for cooling off in. Tony and Liah were very kind delivering fruit and avocados to us throughout our stay. They gave us good recommendations of places to visit or dine out. It was a wonderful holiday and definitely stay there again.

Just 5 minutes' drive from shopping and dining options, Ikurangi Eco Retreat offers an onsite swimming pool and free tropical breakfast. Vicki and Alan are very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, a different experience to enjoy.
