Enjoying a quiet location in the heart of Basel, the Radisson Blu Basel Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the central train station and features a great indoor pool. The staff was so lovely. They had a travel crib set up for us for our toddler. They gave us great recommendations. Great location near the train.

Steinenschanze Stadthotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. Rooms were clean and modern. We stayed in a small room but even that was comfortable enough. Staff was so kind and helpful. The location was great, 10 minutes away from every important part of the city.

Occupying a medieval building next to the historic Spalen Gate, this 3-star hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Basel’s Old Town. Wi-Fi is free of charge. Owner was very accomodating and allowed us an extra hour of check out time due to needing the internet. Also, owner went out of his way to get online and secure for us the Basel Card which offered us free bus and discount musuem.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban. Impeccable hotel. Great location, quietness, beautiful facilities. The rooms are practical, spacious and comfortable. They have nice and helpful personnel. The breakfast is amazing. Great quality-price relation.
