The architecture attracted me to make the reservation and it lived up to expectations. FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

From the first minute there I felt welcome. At the breakfast you get the Micheline-type attention and service.

Perfect location, right in the city centre. The staff was very kind. We arrived earlier around lunchtime and we could check in earlier as well. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Considering the high prices of Switzerland, this place has the resonable prices to stay and have breakfast. I strongly recommend Hotel D.
