The room was clean and comfortable. Our request was met promptly and the staff at the front desk went above and beyond for us. We are very pleased with the service. The lobby is beautifully decorated and feels very cozy, lots of games to play and books to read there. Overall, very happy with our stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Lord Elgin. The staff in reception and the restaurant are superb. They are very helpful and professional. Three of us used the restaurant for breakfast for five days and it was always excellent and the staff really are brilliant. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. The location of the hotel is great. The Canadian War museum and the Canada Aviation and Space museum should not be missed. The only negative for us is that there is not a supermarket nearby. I would definitely stay here again though.

Located in downtown Ottawa, within 5 minutes' walk of Parliament Hill. Each guest room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels and pay-per-view movies. Free WiFi is provided. Staff were amazing, polite and attentive all round.
