Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ibis Salvador Rio Vermelho is ideally located in Salvador, just in front of Rio Vermelho Beach. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The internet did not work well, so I could not work in the hotel. Fortunately I had no urgent matters to resolve.

The food at the Mercure is really good. The staff is very nice and attentive. The pool is amazing and has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Canto Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Salvador. Excellent breakfast- wow! Rooms were soo comfortable and massive TVs with Netflix. Bathroom amazing. I know a lot of people wanted windows but we appreciated escaping from the mosquitoes. Good security and treated guests like royalty. Cleaned rooms regularly. We got a deal but can be more expensive other nights- it is a 4 star hotel at the end of the day.
