The location of the hotel was central and allowed us to walk everywhere. The hotel food was sensational and the bed in our room felt like sleeping on a cloud! Located in Ghent and within 5.2 km of Sint-Pietersstation Gent, Edgar Guesthouse features a restaurant, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi. I appreciated everything about my two-night stay at Edgar Guesthouse, and will most certainly return when I am in Gent again. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The refined and minimalist style, beautiful wooden furniture, and natural-toned textiles (and fine quality bedsheets, etc) give one a feeling of mental calm (and of being on holiday). Their restaurant around the corner, Edgar kaasbar, has a lovely selection of food and drinks. And I would recommend the Edgar’s breakfast basket. Also, the location is perfect! Very near to the Gent-Dampoort station and you can walk to everything from the guesthouse. Tip-top!
