Van der Valk Hotel Gent is a stone's throw from the city center, close to both the E17 and E40 motorways. I booked a room for the night so I could propose to my now fiance, so the room being way bigger then expected was really appreciated.

But the bed was very high and for my mum it was rather difficult to replace me from the wheelchair to the bed. It was just a minor disappointment, all the rest was just wonderful!
