L'hotel de disseny Meininger ocupa una antiga fàbrica ubicada a les ribes del canal de Charleroi-Brussel·les, a 1,5 km de la Grand Place. Big, clean, fun atmosphere. I was there with my daughter (26) and it was perfect. You just have to walk a few hundred meters and over a bridge and you are right in the middle of it all. Great restaurants etc. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were quick to replace anything that was needed. It had a variety of savoury and sweet so everyone happy. Our room was huge and everything was spotless. Excellent shower, too.

It turned out it is very bad, badly located in a somewhat run-down neighborhood, it was a metalic bed in a 9 m2 room, with bathroom shared with other minimum 5 rooms and a toilet at the end the hallway!
