Upon arrival to our room, we found pubic hairs in the shower on the soaps. We called the front desk for them to come clean and sanitize. The hairs were still there. I removed them myself using tissues. My daughter pulled out a rolled towel from under the sink and after opening it she found a long curly black hair. I took a picture and put the towel out in the hall. The door frame over head to the bathroom had visible mold along the entire top. The fridge was not cold enough to keep food safe and it smelled like rotten food! The price was outrageous especially for what we experienced. I have been staying at this hotel, at this location for years every time I come to town. I have always had a clean experience, this time everything was terrible. My kids socks were white upon arrival. After walking around the room for 10 minutes their socks were turning black on the bottom due to the filthy carpet. Totally unacceptable and when I called the front desk to let them know about the second set of hairs we found she said I would need to email IHG but she didn’t even give me the email address and she hung up! One of the beds had curled black hairs under the sheets as we pulled them back to go to bed.

Location is very close to downtown, gated property, staff is very helpful. We were at the end of the hallway and it was very quiet in the hotel. There is a restaurant and bar that's very convenient if you don't want to drive everywhere, and breakfast was good.

This location was perfect for our stay as we had an event in Sarg Hubbard Park which we could walk to. We picked the location because it was so close to our event and were very surprised at how clean, comfortable and affordable it was. We would stay there again. We didn’t have any pets but it was nice that pets could stay there too.

We went to all you can eat brunch with family and it was a good value. The waiter and cook were accommodating and pleasant. The check in process was smooth and the front desk attendant was very nice. I liked the text update option.

We spent very little time in Union Gap. Over the years of visiting Yakima, the overall social, economics, education and friendliness of the public is below average.
We wound up eating at Minor Burgers. It was convenient and a great childhood memory. The once Giant Burgers are still very big but much smaller, thankfully. For two burgers, 1 fry, ~$4.50 for extra tomato and cheese, free water it was about $33. OMG! For someone who doesn’t eat fast food, it was really tasty. The restaurant was very clean and had just served 4 buses of teenager sport teams, and one new bus while we were there. Clearly they can serve a lot of people and are very friendly.

Our room smelled bad, breakfast was gross.
Our room smelled bad, breakfast was gross. It is in a good location as far as stuff being closed by but I wouldn’t say safe. Lots of foot traffic. Excellent price with a pool. Room could use an up date pretty bad and would be nice if they left more than three towels.

Horrible rude staff.
Horrible rude staff. Would do nothing for the nasty dirty room. Just said we could check out and leave. Many health violations and covid policies are non existent. Drug deals all the time with biker gangs. Wyndham needs to clean house and get good quality people working.

I only needed a place to stay overnight, got in at 9:30 pm and left before 11 am personally for an overnight stay I have paid less for a better room but it was all that was available and at least it was clean. There was a McDonalds close by for drive thru breakfast. I am sure I would have a better rating if I stayed another time when COVID was not an issue. There was also a farmers market between McDonalds and the hotel. We did not stop because it was to crowded, we did however find a nice little fruit stand not crowded not far away so we grabbed some cheap Yakima fruits and vegetable before we headed out.
