The place is beautiful even though it's a bit rundown. Its decadence has some charm though. The beds were comfortable and the views were very nice, even though there were no signs of spring yet in the area.

The food in the breakfast buffet was very good, real eggs, sausage and pancakes. The room was spotless, clean. It was super old but clean.

Tarrytown is near several large estate homes that are popular tourist destinations. It was also a good stopping point on our trip from Canada and Maine to Virginia. We visited Lyndhurst , a Gothic-style mansion that is owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The town is quaint and lovely.
The town is quaint and lovely. Loved shopping from the independent sellers, and even having a chance to buy art and products from local artists and vendors. Everyone was super nice, and allowed us to feel comfortable and at home despite being from the city (sometimes us folks from NYC are a bit much, I get it!) Very happy overall with the experience.

We enjoyed a live performance of Jonathan Kruk in the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow. Excellent.
We also toured the nearby Octagon House. This is one of the many unique experiences in the Tarrytown area.
A quick search will reveal many other activities around Tarrytown which can fill a weekend or a week-long visit.

The food sucks!
The food sucks! Restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesdays and the ones that are open don’t open until about 1130 so just forget about breakfast. It looks better on IG not much to do there during Halloween weekend as they make it seem.

Visited over Halloween.
Visited over Halloween. Went to the Blaze one night, which was impressive and fun. Saw the Legend play the second night, also fun.
Cute town, Patriot Park was interesting. Horsefeathers was a fun restaurant, noisy but great food. The El Dorado Diner had good food and very friendly staff.

Things are much further apart then maps give impression.
Things are much further apart then maps give impression. The town itself is lovely. Lots of wonderful places to eat . People are very nice . If you visit the old cemetery drive around it and stop and walk around then drive around further . It is so large and hilly . Great town to spend time in .
I visited my daughter over Easter 2022 at the Sheraton Tarrytown, it was an exceptional stay. The hotel is dog friendly and clearly everyone there loves your dog. I would absolutely stay here again if price was not a concern, I am always on a budget though, so this was a splurge and it felt like it. I did not have a chance to eat in the cafe, but it looked very clean and inviting. The room was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and the beds are a little bit o heaven.
The hotel is in an absolutely gorgeous location. Picturesque, beautiful grounds, just lovely. The staff were also wonderful. Polite, helpful, kind, accommodating. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, which was a plus. We enjoyed walking the grounds and the main town was just a short drive away. The breakfast in the Biddle Mansion was delicious, plentiful, staff here were wonderful as well. Most common areas were very clean.
Nothing. Went to check in around 6pm on Saturday night. The lobby was packed with well over 200 Hasidic men. Apparently there for a wedding. My girlfriend and I got extremely dirty looks from all that laid eyes on us because we stuck out like a sore thumb. Went back to my car and called the hotel, got an answering machine. No one returned my call until 2 hours later and I had already booked another hotel.
I stayed in a king suite, loved the layout of the room and amenities for almost a week stay. Bed and pillows very comfortable and this is my priority for longer stays. The toom was set up to have visitors and still have privacy in sleeping area. Great location and parking. Easy to travel in Westchester or city and close to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. Definately will stay again.
Charming. Big room, lovely linens, very clean, good breakfast options, nice & helpful desk person who referred us to terrific restaurant for dinner (Bistro 12). Pool looked inviting but we hadn’t time. Hotel restaurant is not open yet post pandemic, but you can arrange ahead for a private chef.
The reception area was great. The maintenance guy was brilliant in helping us turn off the air con. The room was a good size. Plenty of parking if you have a car. Walkable to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, though it's a good distance. Check out Pretty Little Vintage nearby - it's great.
The Hotel staff was very friendly. It was a fast easy check in and the gentleman checking me in was very helpful with local food and event suggestions. The room was spotless and the hotel overall was in excellent condition.
The drive up the road was scenic and we liked the "woodsy" location. The room/bathroom was clean and decently sized. The hotel is close to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow attractions.
This was a fantastic and unique hotel. Attentive staff, beautiful grounds, delicious complimentary wine in our room and the largest suite I've ever stayed in.
